“In my opinion this is the most personal and original album I’ve ever recorded”, and after listening through the whole album one of the listeners said: “This is the ultimate Hilde-Hefte-album”. And I have to say after all this work and with at result I'm so very very proud of I hope you will find som music and stories your heart will like.
On this recording I'm creating my own little universe.
You'll be traveling with me out on the ocean where you’ll be flying with the birds, diving with whales and much more. You will find a lullaby in Norwegian. My great grandmother sang it for my grandmother who sang it for her daughter (my mother); she sang it to me and I sang it every night for my child – So in other words, a very personal, sweet little family-tune. The last track on the album is a very special, groove-based a cappella composition. I can't wait for you to listen to it all.

I just have to show you what a gorgeious cover the artist Agnete Erichsen has painted and designed for my next album (to be released this month). What a painter and designer she is. I can hardly wait for this album to travel the world on its own and for you to listen to my music! I am so proud.
All compositions and lyrics - apart from two - written by me.
Wrote all music-arrangements.
I'm playing 75 % of all tracks myrself.
Playing several instruments.
All vocals.

I can hardly believe it; after almost a year in the studio and trying out idears at home, my new album is now mixed and mastered, an udescribable feeling. I am looking so much forward to this, I'm like a child - and I can't wait for you to listen to the result. I don't expect everybody to like it, taste is so personal, but to me this album is some of the best I've ever recorded. :) Why? Because I have this time challenged myself on different levels.
I have released Chamber-jazz CD's, recorded with String Quartet, Jazz Quintet, Bossa Nova in Norwegian, and not to forget: Together with the wonderful City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
This album is quite different. It's only duo or/and vocal A Cappella.
AND; I'm playing several intruments myself, do music-arrangements and I am performing a tune written by myself and Jon Larsen.
